Resize Primary Partition & Increase it's size


If you want to resize your Primary partition, you must have to choose a right time. Because If a load-shedding occur, your data will be lost. So it's better to manage an UPS or a different dependable power source. Let's begin

1. Backup/copy all of your data from your first logical partition (D:\ drive) . Because, you have to delete this partition. (It will be on the second partition in the partition list. So,. Be careful....see the screenshot)

2. Download & Open Easeus partition master (Home Edition) & Delete your D:\ drive.



3. Right click on Primary partition (C:\ drive) & select Resize/Move partition.



4. A window will open. Move the resize bar right or give your desired size in the Partition size box in Megabyte. Remember 1024 MB= 1GB (Gigabyte)



5. Click OK. See the partition list. Your Primary partition has increased by size.
6. Right click on the rest unallocated space & create a new partition. It will be D:\ .
7. See the partition list again. If everything's ok click on apply from top left menu bar.
