Add a new network connection

Sometimes the edge modems supplies bad built-in software. Such as mine, it automatically disconnects from internet sometime. But if we correct the Network connection option we can be safe for it. So, try now if you are bored about automatic disconnect problems.

1. Click on Start\Settings\Control Panel\

2. Select Network connection

  

3. Select Create a new network connection from left panel. Then hit Next.

4. Select Connect to the Internet

5. If you have a edge/dial-up modem select Connect using a dial-up modem

6. Give the proper ISP name. (remember: the apn name is the ISP name most of the time. So, type it in small letter. In the phone number box type *99***1# if you are a Bangladeshi user. Otherwise know the dial-up number from www.google.com or any other source.

6. Keep the User name: Blank, Password: Blank. At last press Finish & see ! When you insert your modem it will automatically detect the connection. That's all.
