Now you can change the Shutdown/Log off menu image manually. At first you have to download -
1. Then copy these files from C:\Windows \system32
msgina.dll
mydocs.dll
shell32.dll
xpsp2res.dll
mydocs.dll
shell32.dll
xpsp2res.dll
2. Open ResHacker. Drag & drop any of that file on it & click on Bitmap from left side menu. You will see many “+” symbol, click any from last.
3. In the right side menu it will show image. See & choose your image. From the menu bar select Action\Replace Bitmap\
4. Open file with new Bitmap & Press the Replace button. Gradually change your files one by one through this way.
5. At last go to File\Save as\ & give a proper name. If the main/imported file is in .exe format, save it as .exe. If the main file is in .dll format, save it as .dll ( To know what type of file is it go to My Computer\Tools\Folder Options…\View\ then unmark Hide extensions for known file types & press OK).
6. Restart OS & press F8 key to run in safe mode.
7. Open Replacer, Then drag & drop main file (.exe/.dll) from their own location (such as C:\WINDOWS\system32) & press Enter. Then drag & drop your edited file & press Enter; It will ask Yes/No; PressY. Then press Enter again.
8. Gradually open another files & repeat step.
9. Restart OS again in normal mode & see !
